Apartment renovations are nice. Good appliances and nice carpeting. Nice floor plans and apartments are spacious. Great Location. Pet fees are outrageous and be alert to which building allow pets and which do not; pets are only allowed in garden apts not the mid rise buildings. Elevators are constantly in need of repair and slow! (which can make for a long haul in the mid rise buildings, which are 7 storys!) several fire alarms responded to due to faulty washer and dryers. Laundry facilities are in need of repair constantly...watch closely or you lose a lot of money in machines. In mid rise buildings, water heaters are too small to handle demand and so often you are taking a cold shower! ELectric baseboard heat is very hard to regulate, you are either freezing or melting and it is not very economical. Wall air conditioners keep only the room they are in freezing cold,while the rest of the apartment is like a sauna.
