The worst ever! Seriously

Do yourself a favor - stay away!. No parking after 8 pm, park on the street - no sign - still get a ticket due to City Regulations. Hidden charges all over the place. Serious noise problem, and I mean you hear people above you peeing, and get woken up 2 am by loud musing or people doings stuff in the woods directly in front of the place. Fire department seemed to come as often as DHL trucks. ELEVATORS ARE POSSESSED! you push 1, it takes you to 7 and stopps most floors on the way down just because. Maintenance is fair. Loundray is often stollen. Business center computers and printer were operational a few weeks out of an average year. Lots of Bling to get you - no results afterwards. Office staff don't seem to speak English when it comes to your needs.

While some of this falls into the ralm of what you must put up with when living in ANY 7 story apartment building the parking comment is just plain and simple a lie. If you want to park directly in front of the door you'll be out of luck late in the evening, but I have never in 7 years had to park on the street. The last two rows near the street have space 24 hours. Come on people...an opinion is one thing, but outright lies are just juvenile.

This Strychnine moron should shut up! Granted, one cannot expect the place to be quiet all the time, but when people have loud music and CHILDREN running around at 3am on a weekday, well that's out of order. And the elevators are absolute rubbish, esp. the middle one that goes only to 7 and no other floor at times. Sometimes you have to go up AND down to get to the main level! The washers are always full of water, the dryers rarely dry (and people DO often steal clothes!), the main floor hallway by the East side door always smells of piss or a toilet backup, the stairwell smells of piss, and BTW, the parking comment is JUSTIFIED. I have had to go out after 5pm onlty to find that there is only parking PAST the garages. And what with the warnings of car breakins and creepy people milling around, not a very safe place for a woman at night. If you've ever heard the song "Mile End" by Pulp, then you will agree that The Preserves is like that. Knocks at my door at 10:00pm by black gang members with a doo rag on their head, gang bangers hanging out at the pool and the workout room looking as if to cause trouble, closet railings and shower curtains just FALLING off for no reason. They promote the "storage space" lockers in the basement, but you cannot get one as they only have a few available, no matter if they are empty. And something is rotten in Denmark with the high electric bills as well. $100 a month when there's no reason for it. Everything is held together with plastic wood and superglue. One would expect a bit more from somewhere in Naperville, and for $1K a month rent. DO NOT RENT HERE. Period. We are out when our lease ends.

As I do not live in the 7-story building, I can no atest to those statements. However, in the 3 story building it is not much better. Parking isn't too much of a hassel even late at night. However things do get very noisy, and you can hear everyone in the building, and the next one over, coming up and down the stairs. There is seriously an issue with the electric. I am very conservative with mine, and most of my vents don't even work, and one person who lives <50 degress in the winter should not be getting a bill around $150!! I work two jobs and am barely in the apartment, and therefore keep the temp low and barely use any other electric appliances. I had no problem in the summers, but when it comes to the winter, these poorly isulated and shoty heat vents will cost you, even for the most conservative of us. The management also has an atitude when it comes to checking problems with electric in your unit. I will likely move out before my lease is up just to save money on electric. I would never live here again.
