I don't know what any of you here are talking about. As most of you stated, obviously you don't live in the apartments. I've lived at the Preserves at Cress Creek for four years and I've never once heard gunshots as one person said, I have heard firecrackers though. So unless you see a safety hazard with children having fun there is no problem. Rent is reasonable, management is prompt, friendly and responsive.

Well Chareen. I am a resident who does live at Preserves and I can tell you that I will not being renewing my lease. After reading all the reviews and reading the Sun Newspaper today 5/12/06 I have made up my mind and I will be leaving. When I read on the front cover that DuPage county Sheriffs just arrested a big time coke dealer and is possible of some murders in Chicago I have decided that the management does not pay attention to who they let in here and I have children and that is my first priority. If you don't care about your safety. This place has gone down hill from here. You may not care about your safety, but I do and if you are someone who is looking for an apartment.. Run, Run as fast as you can. It is worth paying a little extra money for a better living enviroment.

I agree with Jennings. I shouldn't have to worry about my safety in Naperville. NAPERVILLE! This is the slums of Naperville, no doubt. "NAPERVILLE, Ill. Money Magazine has named the Chicago suburb of Naperville the third-best place to live in the United States. The survey compared Naperville with about 13-hundred other towns that have above-median incomes, population growth and real estate appreciation. The magazine also considered the quality of schools, recreation, safety and other factors." Charleen must have been homeless before to appreciate this rathole. Gang bangers by the pool, strange knocks at the door at 11pm, and more than half of the tenants look like they are Section 8--they cannot speak english, are creepy, rude, dirty, and no one seems to work around here, but a few times a month the parking lot becomes nearly empty for all the people picking up their welfare check! I think the good reviews are plants by the management--who would rather waste money on a useless monthly "newsletter" that tells us about current movies, recipes, and that today is "graham cracker appreciation day" than actually giving us any real news. I'd rather have them save the money and upgrade the selection process so they are not so desperate for tenants. This could be a beautiful place (like I thought it was originally) instead of the ghetto...
