Lived here for 6 years, if anything, read this post!

Alright, I'm going to be as unbiased as I possibly can be. I've read a couple of posts noticing that some claim that there's constant drug dealings, gun running, police investigations, theft, and so on. This is not true! However, there has been incidents, as any other place that can be expected. If you, the reader, are curious, I will mention them later down the line. As this is meant to be a guide, I will list the pro's as well as cons in the most user-friendly way I can.

PRO's:
- Maintenance. As long as you let the staff know the issue at hand, they will put in a work-order that will be completed within a few work days. You do not have to be home for the issue to be fixed, but it sometimes help. THE MAINTENANCE CREW AREN'T THIEVES in order to object to some posts. As with any other apartment complex, if the issue is normal wear and tear, the maintenance/replacement is of no cost. I've personally had nothing but good dealings with the maintenance staff and they always get it right the first time.
- Fitness Center. Although much of the equipment hasn't been replaced per se, they do maintain them. Certain dumb bells have been stolen over the course of the years, but they have been replaced promptly.
- Swimming Pool. It, as well as the patio deck, is well maintained and cleaned. If anything, the pool is rather too small for the amount of people that are commonly there. It does get deep very quickly due to a steep slope.
- Apartment Units. Kitchen comes fully furnished with dishwasher (subpar), standard size refrigerator, microwave, and electric stove/oven. With a two-bedroom apartment, the master bedroom has its own AC unit. Having been here for a few years, they do allow you to paint the walls.

CON's:
- Noise. Not always, but on Fridays and Saturdays, certain people do tend to stay up quite late at night and carry on loud conversations out on their balconies. Since the two buildings (777 and 799) are placed in such a way that noise reflects off of each other, it can seem worse than it truly is. Also, bass is an issue as one can underestimate its' ability of penetrating floors and walls. I, once having my music too loud, have had the cops called on me without any warning or complaint from my neighbor. Simply put, if this is ever an issue, always talk to your neighbor about the situation and if that doesn't work, talk with the management.
- Management. Sometimes, it can take them some time to process paperwork or whatnot. Also, I have had some unpleasant and rude attitudes from them. They do seem to be misinformative or uncaring at times. Over the course of six years i've been here, I would say ownership/management has changed roughly four times.
- Elevators. Since there are seven stories to each building, the three elevators are important. Unfortunatly, there has been few times that all three were in working order at once. These elevators, at least in 777, are pretty disgusting even though the walls are cleaned once or twice a week.
- Mail Service. Now, the mail done at the building is strictly done by the post office, but the deliverer does mix up buildings and apartments from time to time. Always make sure you properly put down the apartment number on anything that requires your address.
- People. Now, of course, with any centralized living establishment is only as good as the people you live with. This is true with dorms in college, barracks in the military, or apartments. Here, there are some individuals that are unreasonable and make the experience somewhat unenjoyable, however, the majority of residents here are either good people or keep to themselves.
- Pets. Although there is a no-pet policy, a few people break this rule. However, I rarely hear a dog bark sensessly in the middle of the night or smell foul odors.
- Kids. I haven't encountered this problem for a few years now, but there used to be kids that ran in the hallways constantly. I'm not sure how it is for 799.

Now, I'm sure there's some PRO's and CON's that I'm forgetting, or I haven't experienced, but these are the major ones I can think of. As I said earlier, there has been a few issues over the course of the time I lived here. There has been no true vandalism that I noticed other than a few radio's were stolen out of cars. No one tried to murder anyone as one rumor I've read elsewere. The situation was one person got extremely inebriated and passed out while urinating off his balcony. It is unfortunate that he fell over the rail, but since his body was limp, he survived the seven story fall. He wasn't pushed or thrown off. There may or may not have been a drug dealer that lived in 777. I will say, however, there was a person that tried to grow marijuana in his apartment with a sun lamp. Funny enough, his lamp fell one day and caught his apartment on fire. The police investigated and discovered what he was doing. Gun running' That's a new one to me. The only "firearm" i have ever heard go off wasn't that; near every fourth of july as well as a week or two afterwards, people do set off one or two small fire works off every few days.
