Back in 2003, the elevators were really bad but they have been fixed to the point they are adequate. Pretty nice apartments for the money. Grounds are nice, too. Over the years, it's gotten worse. Majority of residents are Black, Hispanic and Middle Eastern. Some of them are bangers or wannabees from Aurora. Their children are very noisy and the parents don't have a clue when it comes to keeping them in line (or they don't care). They constantly run in the hallways and disturb other people. Management does nothing about it. A lot of these people can't park worth a damn either. This place is a Section 8 haven. When my lease is up, I'm gone. It's like a zoo here and I'm living in the monkey cage.

I would like to point out that the residents here are Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern AND Caucasian. It seems like 60% of the residents here (no matter what color their skin is) lack respect for the complex and in turn, themselves. The other 40% seem pleasant and go about their lives quietly (i.e the few that hold the elevator, drive at a reasonable speed though the parking lot). It does feel like a zoo most of the time. Although, the animals at Brookfield sometimes seem smarter than that 60% I mentioned.

Most of the residents here are Black or Hispanic. It's horrible here. It is like a zoo. I've been having so many problems with these 'gang' members. I see fighting all the time. Save your money don't move here!
