A Disgusting Dump

I have never been so happy to leave a place, nor have I ever had a feeling that I didn't want to go home anymore until I lived here. Management states the complex is not Section 8, but I cannot believe it. If you are a working professional, you don't belong here. The complex is so run down it's pathetic. The laundry rooms smell like stale smoke, dead roaches laying on tiles, and the machines don't wash your clothes properly - and far as the dryers go, forget it. You can spent twice your money and your clothes still don't get completely dried. My apartment from the day I've moved in has had bugs - of all sorts. I request exterminating, which eventually does show up, but never solves the insect control problem. My place smells like mold/mildew from the rotting carpet. The grounds are not cared for - dog poop all over the place, swamp land and the creek smells like there are dead bodies decomposing in it. DO NOT RENT HERE, RUN INSTEAD!

I totally agree. This has been a complete nightmare. I'm still waiting to hear an answer from management. Mind you I asked a question two weeks ago. However you will hear from them if you owe something. This is slum landlord at the best. I wonder if the corporate (waterton) is aware of these issues. I mean it is crazy as hell. The exterminator has yet to come to my apartment. How can you try and be neat and clean with this happening all the time. Constant waste in hallways and in garbage shoot area. No wonder there is a manifestation of freaking bugs. I am so mad for moving to this filthy place. This is worse than westside of chicago. I think Waterton will be hearing from me. Got to go to the top!!

Waterton is aware of issues. They don't care. If you do "go" to the top, good luck.

I agree, i lived there for a year and that was way too long. I didn't have many problems with staff but the complex was horrible. No security at all, stair wells and elevators had urine in them quite often, and salesmen did get in and try to door to door with whatever the heck they were selling. Not worth a penny.
