My husband and I moved into Preserve at River Run last summer. We have lived in many different states as he is transferred a lot. When I say that Preserve at River Run is the worst of the worst places to live, I do mean it!! There are gangs hanging around all the time, and the people who have to park outside a garage have had their cars "keyed." This problem gets so out of hand that the management has had to hire security guards who patrol the area . . . I might add that this is quite embarassing when people visit because they always ask, "why'" The manager of this complex is anything but proactive . . . you will wait forever before you get anything fixed and when it is fixed it is always substandard. After moving into my apartment, I noticed that in getting it "move-in ready" that they paint right over whatever dirt or debris is on the wall. I found wads of pet hair painted over - so gross!! I also found hair stuck to the walls of the bathroom and a very worn carpet. When I asked to have these things brought up to standard, I was told that it would take too much time to have all of my furniture moved out and then moved back into the apartment!! I got all of this luxury for around $1700 a month. If you're thinking about moving here . . . THINK AGAIN . . . don't make the same mistake my husband and I did!!

I would have to agree with most of what was said about this place. Our request to have things fixed in our new home was never done. I went to the leasing office to turn in our request and I had asked for a phone call or a set time before they came into our home because of my child and husband who works late hours and sleeps doing the day. I was told that couldn't be done and they don't have time to set appointments, well they just walked into my home when my husband was sleeping and the issue we had was in our master bath, my husband was caught off guard and the issue is still not fixed. The parking is so bad that you can???t even get out of a parking spot because people park wherever they want to even if it blocking you. We just got new parking passes and it???s still an issue. This place is all fluff I have cracks in my walls and mold on my windows and the press on flooring is lifting. The office staff is only nice to you when it comes to you renting then they forget who you are when you need something done. The business center they have is always being used by kids on my space or face book, chatting, and no parents. The rent is HIGH and the service is LOW! Ask to see the apartment you will be renting before you give them money and sign your lease and move in make sure you check every part of the apartment before you move in. The models look good but check the real apartment out!We do have a lot of gang type here and I will not let my child out of the house alone or at night.
