Response to Management and Review

First, in response to management's posting I would like to assure you that this is legal. People are recommending or not recommending the premises based on their experience. Your accusations about other companies posting derogatory statements about Railway are "catty" and unfounded.
Having lived at Railway for 2 years now, I can assure you that I share many of the concerns listed in the other posts and can certainly see anticipate those that I have not personally experienced. I can also assure you that I have paid the rent on time every month.
In their posting management states "Think about it, if it was soo bad here, would we still be in business." Put quite simply, yes. Cabrini Green still has tenants too you know.
Additionally, I have posted my e-mail address as well, yet I note that you did not. Why would you say someone else's posting is not credible because they didn't post an e-mail and then not post yours' Typical Railway management.
And now for the review you have all been waiting for. First, ever since the rent was reduced all sorts of garbage have moved into the complex. Quite frankly, I would gladly trade the higher rent for the luxury of living with respectful and classy neighbors.
The building poorly insulated and the soundproofing is even worse. It's great that the windows are such that I can barely here the train, yet can hear my neighbors conversations word for word. Additionally, I recently had neighbors move in who smoked and even though we are supposedly on a separate ventilation system, their smoke comes directly through my vents.
I can always tell which room the individuals in the upstairs apartment are in because I can hear every step they take. The benefit of this is I know what room I can talk in so that they can't hear me.
The management sucks with packages. If you receive anything Fed Ex/UPS you'd better track it because they will not notify you when they receive packages. Do not get a paper either. They are laid near the entrances to the buildings and I only received my Sunday paper once every month. The cheap trash at this place steal it because they can't even pay $1.75 and buy their own.
Maintenance is good once they finally arrive. Edgar is great and when he is there you know the problem will be fixed.
A few side notes are that parking is poorly enforced. God forbid you have a garage door near an entrance, because if you do, you will repeatedly be blocked from entering and exiting your garage. Additionally, the hallways smell like onions and curry 24/7.
I'm breaking my lease and taking the financial hit just to get the hell out of this place. I suggest you shop around before selecting this place. But hey, maybe I described exactly what you are looking for. If so, I pity you.
P.S. In case it doesn't post, my e-mail is exodus1550@hotmail.com.
