Of course you are renewing, you are management and get a discount. Oh wait, I forgot, no one in management is actually around for 3 years. My bad. Actually, my guess is you are just management trying to save your hide end by pumping this property.
As for the Apartments, I agree entirely with the comments regarding: "riff raff"; the smoke smell from other apartments entering yours (my bedroom smells like an ashtray thanks to my white trash neighbors); being able to hear the neighbors conversations; the unprofessional/lazy/unresponsive office staff; and that Edgar is the only staff person worth a rat's tushy in this place.
As for the layout of the building, the designer could have planned better. The most expensive and largest units are the Silver Streaks which are the corner units. Unfortunately, these units abut the cheapest and smallest units, which are always inhabited by the trash or obnoxious college kids. Pick your poison. As if this wasn't bad enough, the master bedroom in the Silver Streak abuts the living room/kitchen/dining area of the cheapest unit. You try and figure out how to sleep. If you CAN'T hear the trains, it's because you CAN ONLY hear your neighbor's TV/stereo/conversations/party.
However, it is nice to be right at the train station and the apartments themselves are nice. Unfortunately, even this does not overcome the problems. Sounds like it was a nice place originally (when mostly empty) but God forbid you have neighbors.
