Hate to Say This, But Management Is Very Unprofessional, Irresponsible

If you are determined to live next to the metra station and get taken for a sucker - this is the place for you. Not only is the management rude and unhelpful, they are completely clueless about things around the place. I have been in and around these apartments for the last 5 years. Ever since the change in the ownership, the management has changed several times. And they are only there to ensure that they collect/extract the maximum amount possible, without paying attention to the service. When I was locked out very late one night by accident, I was told to call one of the neighbours to let me in ! I was told by the rental staff that "your neighbours will help you out"!!! Sure they will - out of sheer courtesy - BUT its not their job! One of my neighbours was locked out for several hours, with her young child in the apartmet, home alone. While the maintenance took their own time to arrive. VERY IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT! Very distressful experience and stay...

I need to agree with this person. This management has billed me 3 times.
1. They owed me money. When I went to pay the rent I was told, in writing to deduct it from my rent.
2. The next month they stated that I owed them a balance from 2 months rent. I went to the office and found out that they should never have let me deduct this amount from the last month's rent. I settled up with them.
3. This month, they state that I own them money again; I've underpaid.
There was yet another note in my door.
These people cannot get their act together!

Well, I totally agree with the review.. As such, I did show my resent on the Management at Railway Plaza (Please read the review *HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!). The management is just interested in TAKING money from people with no respect and no care for the tenants.
I wish I could talk to the Boss of ---- ------ ( she never has the patience to even let me talk about what I feel ). I hope the upper management in Gables have an idea about what wrong is happening here..!!!!
