I have lived here for 7 months and I absolutely love it!

The buildings are brand new and in great shape. I have a washer/dryer and dishwasher in the unit. The rent is not bad at all. I have huge garage for only $100/month and the swimming pool is great.

The apartments are really close to the train which is a HUGE plus because you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot at the station every morning.

These apartments are especially great for people who work in the city but like to live in a safe and convenient neighborhood. Let me tell you, Naperville is very convenient. Pretty much any store (Meijer, Super Target, Mall) or restaurant (TGI Fridays, Buffolo WW, Olive Garden) you could possibly think of is within a 10 minute drive. Downtown Naperville is fantastic, especially the river walk and giant quarry swimming pool.

While the commute is improved by being so close to the train, it is not ideal. If your schedule does not synch up with the express trains, I would advise against living this far out. Sometimes I will work late or go out with people from work, but after 6:20pm there are no express trains. This means that the train ride alone will take 1 hr and 10 minutes! Also, I work about 20 minutes (walking) from Union station which makes the commute even longer. This place is really ideal for those people that work in the loop and who are able to catch the express trains.

My biggest gripe with my apartment is the toilet. It is extremely small, like the size of a child's training toilet. It is preposterous to think that a grown man could fit on it. Also, if you can avoid it, try not to get an apartment that is next to the stairs. The constant stomping on the noisy stairs makes it hard to sleep soundly.

Someone made a comment about "ethnic diversity". Put simply, there are a LOT of Indian families that live in this development. Being white, I was a definite minority. I would just say that the people at this complex seem pretty conservative. If your looking for a party place with lots of young people, you should keep searching.

In terms of managemet I have had only one problem. It was when I first looked at this place. I had a verbal agreement over the phone with one of the staff to hold the apartment for me. I was on vacation at the time and asked if I should mail them a check or just wait until I got back. They told me to enjoy my vacation and settle the matter when I returned. Well right before I got on a plane to Seattle, I check my messages. I have 3 voicemails from another staffer saying that someone else is looking at the apartment. I call him up and tell him that I had an agreement to hold the place for me. He says "well they have the money so.....". Then he told me I should get on my flight and he would call me back. I am 100% sure that if I got on the flight, he would just leave a message saying "sorry, theres nothing I could do". Anyways I had to have my girlfriend call and chew them out for them to give me the apartment.

Overall I was really impressed with this place and would recommend it to anyone who works near Union Station. This place is great for young couples or families just starting out.

they'll get over the euphoria. The noise from your next door neighbors will drive you to drink, along with the cooking odors. Maintenance busts their butts to keep the place in repair, India must be a ghost country!!!
