We lived here for 3 years only the fist of which was an enjoyable experience. The entire complex smells like curry now, our neighbors were loud and inconsiderate, the office was not willing to do anything about it. In addition to that the office lost our rent payment once and when we moved out they turned us over to collections despite us having paid in full and on time what we owed. When we provided documentation proving that we had paid they still took 3 months to tell the collections people to stop harassing us. Overall it was a terrible experience and a joke of a place to live. It s really too bad, the layout of the places is nice, the metra is right by there, there is a washer/dryer in the unit, but even with those positives it s just not worth it.

I faced a similar harassment from collections for dues paid in full in time to the Railway Plaza. They turned me over to the collections, and when I threatened to go to the court with my proof of pay, they sent me a letter of apology - without informing the collection agency....This seems to be a ploy on the part of the railway plaza management to extract monies from residents and ex-residents unfairly in the expectation that someone might lose thier paperwork, or even memory perhaps, for having made the payment.
