My husband and I looked at these apartments in April. We had to sell our house first and were moving from out of state. Not once did anyone mention to us that there would be construction going on. If they had, we would have moved elsewhere. We found out right after we moved in that they were going to be replacing the siding and roofing. To our dismay, we were also in the building right behind the staging area. That means that almost every morning, we are rudely awakened by the beeping noise of the construction vehicle backing up. The actual construction on the building is supposed to take 10-14 days, but we have already been dealing with it for 2 months. NOW they are working on our building. We were supposed to get 48 hours notice. I found out the night before. And no, the office does not care. They will not adjust the rent. They pretty much have a too bad attitude. Great that they want to improve the place, but we are only going to live here for a year and it was fine to start with. The roof didn't leak, the siding didn't look bad. Oh, they did offer a hospitality suite if the noise becomes unbearable. And it's like being a prisoner in your own apartment because of the debris flying off of the roof. It has been a complete nightmare.

That's just part of renovation. Some day you're going to own a house that needs new siding or a new roof and that's just how it is. I live there now and it's not bad at all. The parking situation can tend to be a hassle, but we love it here. Much better than places we've lived before.
