Well, let's see where to begin. We moved in shortly before the renovation began...management didn't say a word about it before our move in papers were signed and sealed. Once renovation did start, we couldn't use our parking spots at all, and couldn't use the garages without dodging through ladders and men...management gave no break in the rent. To their credit, I never had a problem with the construction crew. They were ok. Construction was supposed to take two weeks to complete...we're going on over two months and still waiting for the project to be finished and the waste bins removed, and the colors they chose don't even match. Half the buildings are a sickly green and the other half are an awful brown. The front doors are a dark brown/black and the garages are a pale tan. The trim is mostly white. We've also had some problems from the begin with parking (people park in front of our driveway and in the "no parking" street, as well as on the corners) and noise (ie loud thumping stereos at 8:30am on Sunday's) in our building...management hasn't been much of a help. Unfortunately, the way the buildings are pieced together, there is no peace and quiet. There is always someone living above or below you...even in "townhouses." The heating/cooling unit is in the living area and LOUD. Top that off with certain people who sit in lawn chairs in their driveway (why they don't use their porch or stay inside...who knows) with a cooler and stereo and get drunk, do car maintenance between 10:30-midnight, and a guy in a Mustang who won't drive less than 40MPH through the complex (yep, he actually squeals his tires), it's really a low-class place to live. I would highly NOT recommend this place to anyone. I've lived in a few apts, and this is definitely the worst. We are just waiting for the lease to be up, and will be RUNNING away!
