It is ABSOLUTELY unbelievable that this community is rated so poorly on this site. As a content, five year resident, I was blown away to read some of the outrageous claims and accusations made below and had to put in my two cents!
I have lived here through Lincoln managment (who I loved and was very fond of the office staff) into the Village Green change over (who are all wonderful and accomodating) and have ZERO complaints!
This is one of the nicest communities in the Naperville area...great location, smack dab in the middle of downtown Naperville, the Fox Valley shopping corridor and I-88 for commuters. The actual apartments are huge and worth the money in my opinion. I have NEVER had a maintainence request go longer than 48 hours to get fixed (most are same day, we had one request that required the ordering of a part).
Although our upstairs is generally warmer than downstairs, that's to be expected...I mean, crap, hot air rises. Turn on your ceiling fan. LOL. The only other minor complaints I have are with a crappy neighbor and that's no fault of the people running the complex. She just has a bad attitude. *shrug* Bygones. And the occassional yappy dog -- which I can't complain much about either as I'm in a dog building. Either way, if you're an outsider looking into renting here, take the bad reviews with a VERY small grain of salt. There are plenty of happy long time residents here and if you want to find me for a personal testimonial (or just to prove I'm not one of the managers) I'm in building 511 with the blue Accord in front of my door. *cheers*

The complex in NOT in the "smack dab in middle of downtown Naperville" - "downtown" is 2 miles away. A 4 mile walk for a dinner in town, is not in the smack dab of anything.
While I was there - pipes burst over my dinning room, and again over my kitchen. No one ever covered the personal damages - due to the complex, and no fault of my own.
I moved a mile away and I have a lot more space, for $400 a month less.
