I came looking at a townhouse here at Waterford Greens. I came in late in the day and a young girl was there. She was very polite and explained that she was getting ready to close but invited me back the next day. She gave me the price list and the layout and again apologized that she could not show it which was my fault. I thought they closed at 7 and not 6. So I came back the next day and met the leasing manager. She took me over to look at a one bedroom townhome and then a 2 bedroom townhome. I was undecided which to go with so we went back to the office to talk over options. She was very straight forward with me and told me I did not meet income requirements for the 2 bedroom. She explained she would rather rent me the one bedroom town and I do not have to worry about getting behind on rent vs renting a two bedroom town. She explained what the charges would be and explained about the administrative fee. She told me that it would take a little bit to get an answer back and two weeks later she called me and told me I was approved. She worked with me as I had a little bit of credit problems but she did all she could. I will be moving in this month and all excited. I called one day and asked if I could come over and measure the apartment and she said she would either take me over or have someone else take me over so it worked out good. I think this was a wise choice for me. She also seemed to know nearly everybody who came into the office by first name and asked about their dogs or their kids or how a new job was going. I found out she lives on the property. So I would say this apartment complex is going to be a good choice.

You must be talking about Jude. She lives on the property. Wait till your bathroom starts leaking and cold draft starts coming in through your windows and doors in winter! And the worst of it when you move out and the same “friendly staff” becomes con artist out there to swindle your security deposit. Please post your response after you have some experience with Toni and other maintenance staff! Best of luck!

Oh, come on. Illinois has strict laws regarding security deposits. If they don't provide detailed documentation as to what has been deducted from your security deposit and why, you take them to small claims court. I merely threatened legal action against my last landlord and my entire deposit was returned immediately.
