Turning into a ghetto again

When I first moved here it was run down and pretty bad. Then when Stephanie and Judy started working here, they got a better clientel in here. Stephanie left and they went through so many other people who kept quitting. Wonder why' Judy stayed and unfortunately suffered a stroke in Feb. I asked at the office about her and they said she was no longer working there. So I see. The people they are getting now are bad again. We have people who are shooting off fireworks at 1 am at night for 3 nights straight. When a person complains about noise, nothing is done. You go into the office to pay your rent and no one jokes to you or smiles and asks how you are doing like we have been used to. My wife and I used to enjoy going in and paying the rent and chatting with the people there but now you go in for a package and it may not even be up on the shelf, or they don't even ask who we are so how do they know it is us picking it up' People who are moving in here recently are having 4 or 5 people move in with them after they have moved in. The good tenants are moving out. They have decided that things are now getting worse. I know that we are going to move after our lease is up. Without Judy in the office, the friendliness of Waterford Greens is now gone. She cared about us and she never talked down the owners and defended them whenever we would hear someone say something to her about conditions. She still defends them to this day. We were all out at the pool and taking about how the owners don't care and she said how untrue that was and how much respect she had for them here. We sure don't see how with all the hours we would see her work. I hear people complain all the time when we are at the pool or the mailbox and they say how they go to the office to pick up packages after work and the office is closed for lunch. At 4 pm' that is crazy. Also, Jim and Jan are the only other good things here. They are polite, they get things done. Judy even defended the woman in the office and she does not even work with her or could know anything about her. Talk about loyalty. But something needs to be done. Offer Judy her job back. Get us to stay. Have Judy get the undesirables out like she did before. Turn this back into the complex it was like in 2005. I wanted to put my name on this but my wife said no as she is afraid if we do not move our rent will go sky high and also if we do move, they will sock it to us.

I moved here in September 2003 and it was the nicest place I could find in Naperville for the money. Since then, the parking lot has been repaved and the grounds look a lot better. However, this year I've noticed that nobody seems to be doing any landscape work. The shrubs in front of my townhome look horrible. The annual exterminator visits have also stopped, it seems. It's sad that the loss of Judi's presence in the office appears to be the source of this. For the first time, I am thinking long and hard whether to renew my lease next month.

They are going to sock it to you when you move, so it really doesn't matter... By the way...they let Judy go because of her stroke. There is currently a lawsuit against the complex, filed by several former tenents, for illegal and unethical practices. If you do leave...take pics of everything...walls, appliances, etc or they will try to crew you out of a lot of money. Eric |
