I lived here for almost five years. It was a nightmare from the beginning. I came to pick up my keys, with a full rental moving van, helpers and a steady downpour. I pick up the keys only to find that the carpet is soaked because they just cleaned it a few hours earlier. That should have been the only flag I needed to turn around and move somewhere else. But...alas...

The staff are idiots. They do not have any customer service skills and anything that you bring up is not their fault. There are dogs everywhere. Poop everywhere. They take forever to respond to a service call and they can't be trusted in your home. So....just fix it yourself. Beware! When I moved out, they claimed that the carpet was runied and they kept my deposit! The apartment was spotless,,,,I even repainted the walls for them before I moved out! Who does that' I do...and still got screwed!

The units are in horrible condition. The balcony was trashed...rotten wood, cracking paint...and poor fitting windows. The winter wind lived inside my house!

Parking is a mess, the trash piles up, it is just a dump! Stay out!

You should call a lawyer, because carpet and blinds are *expected* to be replaced after a certain amount of time--they are responsible for the cost of replacing it, not you.

They are notorious for nickel & dimming people when tenants move. They will charge even for the toilet seat, filter for the furnace, knobs on the faucets, you name it & you will be charged. Place a complaint with BBB & then check with the Attorney General to see what other recourse you might have. Someone should start a class action against them. No one EVER gets the full deposit back!!!! I'm sure over the years you could get hundreds to join your cause & screw them!!! They give landlords & property management a BAD name!!!! Unfortunately the staff is not only under paid, not appreciated & has to do what they are told or get canned. It's the Ditzy owners who only think about cutting corners & the bottom line $$$$ They are the problem. From Mrs. Shah who has absolutely no CLUE about property manangement to the other YoYo's in the downtown office who only care how much revenue comes in & where they can cut to get more. They even srew the vendors over. What a shame because the units floor plans are not bad, area & school district is great.

I couldn't agree more. The staff are really nice. It's the cheap owners that should be ashamed of themselves. It is a great area and the people who live here are so nice. But I've ended up replacing some things out of my own pocket because it's impossible to have something replaced by the owners with a NEW item.
