I have searched all over Naperville for an aparment and Waterford green is the most economical. The staff is friendly. Yes the grounds could use an over haul on the patios and balconies..but compared to the other complexes.. I still say waterforrd green is the best value. I've lived here for over two years now and I've never had a problem in which I needed to blame the property or the staff. I've seen most of the things that people talked about in their post.(I jog a lot so I'm always outside. The problem is, it had nothing to do with the staff or the property. People do stupid things at stupid times. Some people don't follow the rules and figure they will see how far they can get. Everyone is given a Rider and should read what the rules and regulations are of the property. If someone is not following the rules then it should be reported to the staff. As far as the cars being vandalised..that can happen anywhere..this is not a gated community. The cars are parked in the lot at any time some kid or adult can decide they want to break in or vandalized. I had my car vandallized at Jewel right on Ogden..while I was shopping for groceries! So should I not shop there anymore..well I guess that is my choice...but I'm not going to put them on blast for that. It was just an unfortunate incident.

More about the property, I see the maintenance man every morning on my way to work, picking up the grounds. If you didn't know He's here at 7:30 like clock work. They have gotten a New treadmill and there is a pool attendant on some days. The appliances are somewhat old. But whenever they break, maintenance is right on it. There are only two maintenance guys. Trying to accomadate this huge complex. Just remember they are people too. Sometimes I feel sorry for them..they work so hard and look so sad sometimes. I guess I'm just a different type of tennant..I try to treat people like I want to be treated and not like lower class citizens.

For the most part if you are interested in this property,don't believe what people have written here. Come see for yourself. Tour the grounds late at night and then come during the day when the staff is here. That way you can determine for yourself whether this is the right place for you! Most people who right negative information is people who were doing something wrong anyway and got caught! I have been here for two years and I will stay lord willing until I can afford to buy. DO NOT BE FOOLED PEOPLE. THIS IS MANAGMENT POSTING THESE GREAT BLOGS. FUNNY HOW AFTER 2 NEGITIVE REVIEWS THERE ARE ALL OF A SUDDEN 2 POSITIVE ONES. THE TERMONOLOGY USED IN THE ABOVE BLOG IS TOO APPARENT. COME ON HOW MANY RESIDENTS DICUSS THE RIDER TO THEIR LEASE?? MOST RENTERS ONLY REFER TO OR KNOW THAT THEY HAVE LEASES. AND YEAH LIKE US RESIDENTS ARE AWARE THAT THE MAINTENANCE MEN ARE HERE AT "7:30 SHARP." COME ON....THE ABOVE BLOG IS MANAGMENT MAKING EXCUSES. WHY IN THE WORLD ARE THEIR ONLY 2 MAINTENANCE MEN HERE????? I HAVE RENTED FOR 10 YEARS AND MUCH SMALLER COMPLEXS WITH THE SAMES AMMENITIES AND LOWER RENT HAVE WAY MORE STAFF MEMBERS TO MAINTAIN THE PROPERTY. AND YEAH THE PATIOS ARE HORRIBLE LOOKING. NOTHING LIKE PAINT CHIPS FOR THE KIDDIES TO PLAY WITH.....HOPE THERE IS NO LEAD!!!! AND YEAH TOUR THE GROUNDS WHEN IT IS NICE AND DARK SO YOU CAN'T SEE THESE LITTLE FLAWS THAT GET OLD REAL QUICK. AND THE NEW TREADMILL TOOK MONTHS TO GET HERE. MONTHS AND MONTHS. WHILE THE OTHER ONE HAS BEEN BROKE FOR OVER A YEAR. SAD SAD SAD. AND DON'T EXPECT THE LIGHTS TO EVEN BE BRIGHT IN THE GYM BECUASE HALF THE BULBS ARE USUALLY BURNT OUT. AND THERE ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE "THINGS" FLOATING AROUND IN THE DIRTY, FLITHY, NEVER CLEANED HOT TUB. AND THE SAUNA IS THE SAME. I LOVE SAUNAS BUT HAVE NEVER DARED TO GO SIT IN THAT ONE. NOW FOLKS JUST THINK...IF GYM,POOL/HOT TUB, SAUNA IS IN THE OFFICE WHERE THE MANAGER SEES IT DAILY; IS IN THAT MUCH OF DISSARY..THEN IMAGINE HOW YOUR UNIT IS WHEN YOU WAIT MONTHS AND MONTHS FOR THE MAINTANENCE STAFF TO GET TO YOUR REPAIRS. AND DONT CALL IN MULTIPLE REQUESTS AT ONCE...THEY CAN ONLY SEEM TO HANDLE ONE AT A TIME. AND ONE LAST RANT...DONT YOU DARE BRING GOD INTO YOUR POST FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF RENTING YOUR UNITS OUT....THAT IS JUST THE LOWEST OF LOWS!!

Dear whomever you are..I guarantee you that I am not management. A friend of mine who was interested in the property saw the negative posts so I decided to add my two cents. And to Answer to your statements. I have a job that I go to every morning and I make it my business to pay attention to my surroundings because people are crazy. It's not my faught you don't do the same. Next, I've been taught to read everything even the small print before signing my name and agreeing to such. I'm sorry you didn't do that..but who's faught is that? When you get a loan for a car or house do you just sign the contract before reading? Next, sweetie if you are unhappy with where you live..you can always move. If I didn't like my surrounding, where I live ...I would definitly not hang around... And Yes..God is my Rock!..I call on him when I wake up in the morning and when I go to bed at night. I make sure he protects me from everything..because life is hard. So don't you dare accuse me..this is an open forum and just like you want to post nasty things..well I want to post good things..because I am a happy renter. So before you go accusing people get your facts straight! Just because you were unhappy and had bad experiences doesn't mean the next person will. If everyone found the good and potential in people instead of harboring on the negative and how they can screw someone..Life would be a happier place. One last thing. Are you kidding me? I live my life looking for the best in people! But this place doesn't deserve that kind of empathy. The problem is the OWNERS. THEY DON'T CARE. I see the older guy early in the morning. I also see the new door installed to the leasing office. It's beautiful. Yet we can't even get our balconies repainted??? All they care about is the very first impression and it seems to be the only area that is truly maintained. As far as moving? I'd move in a heart beat if I had the money. It costs money to move and I don't have it at the moment. I'm actually considering a loan to be able to move. This isn't about trying to "find the good" in everything. It means NOT allowing a slum lord to compromise what your rent payment should being you.
