I loved living in these apartments.
The only reason I moved was because my kids had gone to another school for several years and I wanted to get them back in it. We moved in Briarwood because we were temporarily displaced from our other home.
The management was great here. Very nice, friendly, and helpful. Very reasonable. (Amy and Patience) The apartments are really nice. Very little maintenance trouble. Nice maintenance guys. Great price also. I've lived in several places and areas of Bloomington and Normal and this was (is) my favorite so far. There is a great playground setup with a wide open view. Great dining and gas stations in the area, as well as stores nearby and entertainment.
The only bad thing about these apartments is not the apartments at all, but rather that there is no bus to pick up the kids for school and it's about ten blocks away. That is very frustrating.
There is also an apartment complex near them that has quite a bit of illegal drugs, but cops are there a lot handling it. No killing or shooting or anything like that.
(In regards to the question below, I have recommended this apartment complex often since I lived there.)
