i have been in lancaster heights for over a year now. the few problems i have had have been solved by maintenance or the office staff quickly and efficiently. very good price for the amount of space i have in a 3 bedroom, as i have looked all over mclean county. wish they didn't have the income limits, though, since i will probably have to move next year. would like to stay. only problem i see is the outdoor lighting along the sidewalks to the townhouses on the end. very dark. need more lighting. still feel safe walking from my car to my door, though. last summer their were a few safety problems, but it seems they have been solved. would recommend. only problem with parking is the inconsiderate visitors who park in numbered spots. don't know how to fix this. as soon as joes towing hauls away one car, someone else it there. not the fault of the office staff. how can you deal with rudeness from visitors and the residents they are visiting'

I'm thinking of moving to Lancaster from out of state. I thought the complex looked great,and the 3 BR townhouse is huge for the price. I haven't seen inside any apartments,none are vacant now..that must be a good sign. I just wonder..is it nice inside? Updated? Look great from outside. My main question..why is the SAFETY rating so low? Is there a problem around there? I'm familiar with the area, and I always thought it was really safe! Can anyone tell me anything about that?
