I have lived at LanCaster Heights for a few years now. There is no perfect apartment living but LanCaster is a pretty good place to live. I agree there is a group of children that are never supervised, and yes the office manager's children do run unsupervised. Maintanence tries there best with a quick response time. However the repairs are done poorly I believe due to the lack of materials or quality of materials to do the job correctly. Office staff has listen to whatever concerns or questions I may have. They become more friendlier as they get to know you. I do believe there are "cliques" or "favorite" residents that believe the rules don't apply to them and they get away with it. There are a few ladies that are always at the pool and they act like they own it.
Other than that people are freindly. I have never had a problem concerning my safety. I think the rent is a fair price -- they pay water and heat. The location is GREAT.

I agree with your post that Lancaster (I don't know why you are capitalizing the C??) is a pretty good place to live. The apartments are nice and spacious. All in all a good place. I just hope you guys know that it is not the kids fault, they are just being kids. Maybe if they had more supervision and guidance they wouldn't be the way they are. Yes they are the managers kids and yes they run around unsupervised all the time and they are home all the time! Everybody knows who's kids they are because they are always telling everyone "my mom owns this property" Plus it's not that hard to figure out. As far as the comment for "favorites" you are absolutely correct. I couldn't agree more.

wow,I came to this site to see how the apartment complex was. I wanted to find out about the 2 bedrooms and mainly safety, not how the managers kids are. I can handle children being brats, like the above poster said arn't they all.

i've been here three years and though i do feel safe here, the outside lighting could be better. it's too dark in the parking lot, and the walkways to the townhouses. if porch lights aren't on, it's pitch black. and i understand kids are kids, but when they become a nuisance to others and stop people from going to the pool and playground, then it's a problem.

I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE POST. IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME KIDS THAT ARE A NUISANCE. AND IT'S THE PARENTS FAULT, THEY ARE NEVER OUT WITH THEIR KIDS. SAME AT THE POOL -- THE PARENTS SIT AROUND SMOKING AND GOSSIPING NOT AWARE OF WHAT IS GOING ON.
