I lived in the Sami apartments on hillview and I thought it would be a great experience. However I am moving out this week and I cannot wait, I actually circled it on my calender. I pay 355 a month and have two other roommates. The townhouse is nice, however if I sit in the bathroom I can hear a whole conversation to the apt. next to ours. Luckily my room isnt by the bathroom.
Here is my major concern, its parking. I live in the smallest room you can think of while my other roommates have big rooms, so to make it worth it, I get to park in the lot. However, so does everyone but there is only 2 spots per apts, and there is 9 total. A friend of mine works for Joes Towing and stated they stay away from our apts because the owners of Sami's son lives there and his sister always parks in our lot even though she lives right down the street. Also he can have parties at his place but when we watch a movie we have people complaining that its too loud (thats even on a Saturday Night). Once an apt had a work party with a few friends, and the cops were called numerous times and they came. When did the cops come for a beer bash at apt 2, answer NEVER. A real nice place is ruined by one situation. My advice is to stay away from Hillview unless your going to suck up, otherwise you have to worry about parking, people walking in the rocks at 3 in the morning Sun-Sat, Sami's Son in apt 2, and your place being robbed. The windows in every apt. you can get in too, everyone who lives there knows it. If you forget your key, you just push on the window, lift and it opens. A guy came to fix the windows and when he left my roommate went outside and pushed in, and there you go, it opens and they climbed in. A stereo was stolen in my roommates car when he was parked right in front of our apt at around 5 pm. The parking lot was full and no one seen anything at our complex''''' No one helps eachother out, no one says hi ever, its just a sad story to live there. For the actual apt its not too bad besides worrying about getting your items stolen. If you throw Sami's son out I would give Sami a 8 out of 10, and if the rude people who live there would leave I would give it a 9-10. Parking sucks

Dude, I guarantee any bathroom in any apartment building you can hear other apartments. it's called pipes.
