Okay - now that I don't live in Salem Walk anymore, I have no problem being honest. I loved the Salem Walk area and the community, however I would NEVER AGAIN rent a Salem Walk apartment through Invesco.

First of all, I didn't have heat for over 14 days during the two years I lived there. There was one time, during the coldest January on record that we didn't have heat for 3 days. I was heating my house with the gas oven and running the hot water just to keep my apartment at 50 degrees.

Maintence might fix things, but not correctly. I never had a working garbage disposal (I gave up after 3 fixes) and my diswasher didn't work for the last 2 months of my stay. Things didn't get fixed unless someone called...a lot. Leaky pipe in the laundry room, carpet coming off the stairs, screen doors falling off...don't expect them to act unless you call, and call, and call, and call.

The apartment was so nasty and dirty when I moved in. I hired professionals TWICE while I lived there to scrape off years of grease in the kitchen and years of ground in dirt on the carpet. AND, Invesco still had the nerve to charge me for cleaning and carpet cleaning!

If you find the right building and the right landlord, you might have a great time at Salem Walk. But please, please, please do yourself a favor and
AVOID INVESCO'S PROPERTY!

They are doing the same thing to me at a different property.
