One Hundred Forest Place

Nice, but too expensive

I lived here for 1 year. The place is nice and is in the heart of downtown Oak Park. The neighboorhood is very safe, and my wife and I often walked through the neighboorhood at night. With that said, the rent is very high compared to the rest of the area, and the hidden fees (all utilites, parking, etc.) add up fast. I was paying a mortgage, without the tax break, before I knew it. I got the place at a discounted price because of a special 100 Forest was running at the time. When it was time to renew and the special was up, the cost of renewing my lease would have added 250-300 a month to my rent. To justify this rent 100 Forest Place should at least add ALL utilities and parking.
