You pay a lot for what you get

It is downtown Oak Park, but the rents are VERY high for what you get. They charge extra for parking. The townhomes have NO storage in them whatsoever, so let's hope you don't mind piles of your possessions on the floor that simply have no other place to get put (the tiny closets won't even hold your clothes). The office people are rude, and the manager is a piece of work (rude and a -------).
You can get MUCH better value for money with a private landlord - more floor space, more stuff included in rent (which will probably be lower), and locations that are just as good. And the least probably won't be a 50-page corporate lease that has watertight clauses for anything imaginable - AIMCO's lawyers really went to town on this one.
