Prairie Brook at Farmington Lakes

You really don't know what you've got until it's gone. I lived there for 1 year, but moved to be closer to work. It was almost a 2 hour drive for me and I just couldn't do it anymore. This place was great. I had the perfect apartment, in the perfect location, in the perfect environment. It was so quiet there over looking the lake.
I moved to a place that is much closer to my job and I hate it. At Prairie Brook I was treated so well, from the time when I moved in and the manager stayed late to accomidate me getting stuck in traffic, to the office staff knowing my name and adress when I went in to pay rent, to them knowing my wife when she went to the pool. It's a community. Here, we are a number, stuff is broken in the apartment all the time, office doesn't care. I go to pay my rent, they don't know that I even live there.
I miss Prairie Brook. I wish they could move the building closer to my job!
