Prairie Brook Apartment is the most beautiful and safest place to live in. I live in one bedroom apartment along with the gorgeous bathroom with big tub in it. No problem like things breaking or electricity going down like some other apartments malfunctions ultities. The managers and maintences are great. Always there for you whenever you have a questions or need to pick up a package from their office without worrying about it getting lost. The neighbors are friendly and continue with their business. The parking lot are satisfaction.. LOT OF ROOMS! The clubhouse along with the pool/fitness are awesome.
Anyways, to my dismay about their pet breed restriction. I can understand that they don't allow German Shepherd,Rottweiler,Doberman Pinscher,and lastly Chihuahua'! I was astonished about Chihuahua being on the most dangerous list of breed. My dog is only 4 lbs and his name is Stewie. So tiny and sweet. He never attacked anyone. I explained that to the landlord but unfortunately, the rules is rules. No one can do anything about it. So basically, Stewie is living with my father for now til the lease are up in a couple of months. I really miss him so much and I have no choice but to move out. Yes, I know its silly to move out over a dog but I really love that dog. I'm an animal lover and damn proud of it. I own 2 birds and a dog.
Again, I just wanted to thank you to the people and workers of Prairie Brook Apartments for making us feel welcome and safe here. I will miss this place.

Dear Jennie: Many apartment communities don't allow Chihuahuas because they can be noisy, barky dogs. Size doesn't matter in that case. It means that management companies can dictate whatever rules they want to. Did you have the dog there at your apartment and not tell the office? Did they confront you about it? That's probably the case.
