I've been a resident here for over two years and have had no problems. Even though the area is somewhat shady, I've never had problems or have been afraid of my safety. The complex has a security company patrol the parking lots each night several times to make sure there is no shady activity occuring. The bedroom in the one bedroom apartment is large. My one complaint is that the kitchen is small and doesn't have enough counter space. I guess that's what you get with a lot of one bedroom apartments. The maintenance staff can be a little slow if you lock yourself out of your apartment, which I have done before. The office staff is friendly and the apartment are quiet. When I moved in they offered a nice special, which is why we moved here. Occasionally if you come home late at night on a Friday or Saturday, the small lot I park in gets full so I have to park on the other side of the complex in the bigger lot.

The security patrol would drive through once a night, spend about 35 seconds flying through the parking lot before leaving for the night.
