I can't say enough bad things about this place, and, unfortunately, becasue I had dogs and needed the space, I was forced to live there for a few years. Maitenance sucks. If an appliance breaks, or a door needs to be repaired, head over to Home Depot. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. It's overpriced, and your rent WILL increase every year (not a small increase, either). Heat is overpriced, and what apartment complex charges you for water and trash service' If you ever move out, expect a bill for several thousand dollars of repairs, because they will try to charge you to re-paint and replace the carpeting. I was told this was standard practice, even though the carpets and walls were in fine condition. They also attempted to lie about my security deposit, even though I had the agreement in writing. It took several phone calls to an attorney and the Housing Authority to rectify the situation. The walls, floors, and cielings are cheap and thin, so plan on living in a dorm if you live hear.
Yes, it's big. Yes, it seems nice. Demand on seeing an ACTUAL apartment, not that pretty little model in the office. You will be unpleasantly surprised.

I cannot express in words my disdain and hatred for Bourbon Square Apartments.
