so this entry finds our characters doing no better than the characters running the show 6 months ago. We have the management team who dont tell the rental office staff whats going on. We have the rental staff who are not friendly. We have the maintenance staff who are still clueless, (same staff from prior management). And we have the buildings. Getting older and more in disrepair by the day. I tell you what I have seen change. More and more corporate housing in this complex. Apparently they have the best apt units too! Third floor with vaulted ceilings! I have seen bus loads of them from United dropped off in the complex and they all live in different units. (So now we know why our plan tickets cost so much when we travel.)
Back to the issue at hand, the lack of change since the new management took over. So when are we getting our parking lots repaved' When should we expect those washer and dryer hookups in the units' When will the garages be repaired and repainted' When will the laundry room windows be replaced' And what about the cable' With new management can we finally get out of our contract with that awful TVMax'''

Did you get away from your computer yet and look out the window? Things just don't happen overnight. I would imagine that the new management company has to get approvals and permits from Palatine before they can act on anything and it appears that they are getting the go ahead for much needed improvements. I, along with many of my neighbors, are very glad to be here now! How lucky we are! I saw ComCast installing cables, I've seen new roofs, I've seen new A/C's, I've seen a cleaned up pond by the office, I've seen a company trying to figure out the major problem with the hot tub. I see a new management company that is doing its best to get this place looking good and they are doing a great job. Don't be so critical. Patience is a virtue! Keep in mind that there are probably alot of legal items to take care of and managment can't always blah-blah, blah about what's going on. Did you ever hear the expression, "they didn't build Rome in one day"? So take a breather, be patient and give the new management company a chance. These are the best improvements we have ever seen. When the previous owner let everything go over the years, the new management company got bombarded with a load of tasks to do, but little by little they are getting them done---oh yeah---improvements around the buildings, too---landscapers---sidewalks and patios are getting fixed---we could go on and on!

Well I would like to know what section of the community YOU live in cause I see NOTHING in mine! And what about communication. YOu would think they would at the very least communicate to us what is going on for Pete's sake everything has been a secret since they took over. Theywan't even tell us what the improvements are for the clubhouse. Stating they don't know. They are 2 feet from the hammer and they don't know? What's the big secret?
