You clearly live in one of the higher number buildings, and aren't being told to leave, "luvitherefutureowner". Guess what, the condos don't exist yet, so you will have to move out before you move in/buy. If you really believe that you will seamlessly just buy your unit, think again. Word has it that your apt. will be bought out from under you, and you will have no choice but to cater to their whims, or get out. If you are into the owning of a unit with structural problems, a landfill nextdoor, and the discovery of a dead woman's body just 100 feet from your back door a couple of years ago, than have at it.

"low-life whiners"? Sheeesh!

Well "luvittherefutureowner" you seem misinformed yourself. If you think the info you are getting from the staff is accurate, think again. I myself have been doing research since the day the new management team took over. I have spoken with a realitor and the village. You are living in your own littel world if you think this is going to be a smooth sail purchase. First of all you will not be able to buy your unit "as is". At the very least they intend to redo each unit to be in "rental condition". From there you can purchase upgrades. But clueless, in order to sell to you in "rental condition" you would have to move out for them to replace and fix everything. Thus you will be offered a 3 or 6 month lease. So when you come back to earth, and get your facts straight, we can have a meaningful conversation. Till then, keep your stupid childish comments to yourself.

I'm actually in one of the first phase units and from what I hear... I'll be offered an "as is" and I can add things from there. I don't have any idea where you're getting your misinformation from but even with all the "problems" you said there are why are you still here if you're so unhappy. So... let me suggest... get some cheese to go with that WHINE!

I realize the management is not offering to all the people up for renewal open units in the future renovation area cause there may not be enough to go around to offer to everyone, but why not ask for yourself? Why would they say no? Its a vacant unit and you are clearly a good tenant otherwise they would not have offered you a renewal in the first place.

obviously whothehelcarewhatyouthink & youhavenoidea have not done much research, I have been talking to management since they came in & they are not going to sell the unit out from under you & force you to leave before your lease is up. They can't it is against the contract, & as always if you don't like it here leave, no one is forcing you to stay or buy, don't ruin it for people who are happy with what they have.
