We were excited about the conversion & we were going to buy until we found out about the price so since we don't live in phase one we figured we would re-new when our lease was up & stay until our building was converted however now with note my friend got we are not going to re-new nor do I suggust anyone move here. Here is the letter she had shoved under her door this weekend. This is how they treat someone who has been renting her for at least 3 years. I e-mailed management about it this morning but have not heard back. This is after management sent dvd's where it promised this wouldn't happen shows how well they stand behind their word.

Friday we had a letter on our door from Bourbon Square. It told us that they are unable to honor our lease and that we have until December 28 to move out. Apparently they are doing this to a lot of people who just renewed their lease. They say that we can transfer units- but I am worried that they will cancel that lease too if they convert to condos

I would be very interested to know where in the complex you currently live. What building are you in and when did you re-new? I too just re-newd and planned to wait till they converted my building to buy. I have not rec'd such a letter and hope not to.

this is false information all lease terms are honored. on renewal in phase i there is a 30 day clause. as of 3/07 no one has been asked to leave a unit
