My husband and I have lived in Brentwood for about 3 years, and every day I wish I never moved here.
The grounds are decent and the pool is a resonable size, however, the neighbors leave much to be desired; Their are tons of rude and unruly people who run their mouths all hours of the night with no volume control at all. Calling the police does nothing and at the worse of it, there wasn't even an association to call for help; Apparently, it was under new management etc, etc.....(3 times in 2.5 years) Things are constantly breaking down and even though the one maitnance guy, who actually cares about his job, does it well, the others are just sitting around for paychecks.
We have had a leak in our bathroom for the better part of 6 months now, and 6 months later, we now have a giant hole in our shower...
There is limited guest parking. There are up to 15 free parking spots for the whole complex! I've had visitors come by and have their cars towed, despite the fact they were 'safely' parked in the blue lined parking spots.
I don't own this unit (which I was once scolded upon for by the previous owners of Brentwood)but renting in this economy is hard enough,and for the price I pay, I shouldn't really complain, but-
The bottom line is this-If you don't mind being kept up by rude, loud, inconsiderate people, dodging children in the parking lot who are left unattended by neglectful parents, or stepping over a pile of dog feces, then by all means...move in!
If you don't....stay clear away from Brentwood!!!!
