I have mixed feelings

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005
When we moved in here in 2002, the place seemed ok. Since the building is aging, our a/c, garbage disposal, and washer broke and had them fixed with no hassles. I give kudos to the maintence staff!
The problem that I have is with the quality of the apartment itself. The walls and floors are paper thin, so you hear alot of noise. I have new a neighbor that likes to play his stereo all night. I won't be renewing my lease. And everything that goes on in your living room, you can hear from outside the apartment in the hallway.
The windows are in BAD need of replacement, and the are very drafty in the winter. At times, you can see the blinds move even though the window is closed.
The parking situation isn't the best. The visitors spaces are ALWAYS filled up while the assigned spaces are left empty. And your only assigned 1 space per unit.
They now let HUGE dogs in. One of my reasons for renting here in the first place was that big dogs are not allowed. I've even seen a barking, teeth-showing rott here a few months ago, and I'm not very happy about it.
If your deciding on renting here, take in consideration what you want when you move: do you want privacy' Maybe ask for a 3rd floor apartment. I would hate to live underneath someone. The floors here are so cheap and thin. Also, the main door slams on the first floor, since there is NO stop! People here don't have enough consideration to not slam it. In a 1st floor apt, you may hear the door slamming constantly. I can hear it all the way in my 3rd floor unit!!!
