Not perfect, but good for the area

I spent 2 months trying to find a nice reasonably priced place in Palatine. I wound up at Clover Ridge and I am not disappointed. The apt was remodeled before I moved and with new carpeting/flooring, dishwasher, microwave, and light fixtures/fans. The only thing that wasnt new was the FULL size washer/dryer, but it works perfectly. I live on the second floor and get along with all my neighbors. I keep a gas grill and patio furniture on my deck and no one has ever disturbed it. There is low-income housing across Rand so I am extra careful about security. I live closer to the townhouses and single family houses on the other end of the complex and have never had a problem. Parking lot is well lit and my boyfriend who stays over regularly has never had trouble finding parking. I have never used the work out room or pool, but I didnt when I lived in a townhome either. They are VERY strict about the $100 late fee, ouch! Maintenance always responds promply to my requests (wobbly stove and fan on A/C broke. I have friends who live in other apt complexes in Palatine and always tell me for the price, my apt is the best.
