The one thing I did forget to mention was although the manager did state there was a notice sent out to me on whatever dates, I was glad she had said that because, when I had came in the weekend before and spoken to one of the other office personnel I had already asked to see my file so I could verify where in my lease it was specified when, and how I was supposed to give them notice that I would not be renewing my lease.
She did show me in my lease, and also gave me copies of everything in my file. Which is what I used to verify that no notice was sent out to me at all. When I confirmed that the assistant manager was lying to me (about a notice being sent out and it was in my file), and let her know, she had nothing to say, but stuck to the fact that I would have to pay late notice charges.
So to avoid any charges, being sent out to a collection agency, I am just going to pay charges and leave I will however be contacting there corporate office (which most likely knows about what they?re doing, and also the Better Business Bureau.
I do hope this helps anyone thinking about moving in here out with their decision.
