Very nice place; very badly managed

Countryside landscaping is awesome, and they have done a great job getting hte place to look better. But the management really sucks. Very inflexible with lease breaking - here's one example
the rent that I pay for a 1 BR is 775. If I need to break the lease early, I must pay for the next month or two, AND I must pay them back for any discounts they have given me. Discounts'' Yes - Apparently, the "full-price" rent for my apt is 960... If I want to break the lease early, I must also pay 960-775 for EVERY month that I have lived in there... sucks, huh'
Parking is TERRIBLE. people park their commercial vehicles in the parking lot all the time. There are huge trucks / vans in the lot which are built for compact cars at best, and I have several dings on my car door to prove it. The only available parking after 10 PM is on the street. And mind you, that is illegal in Palatine.
I thought after they implemented the parking permit system, parking would get better. But no - all the commercial vehicles in the lot now have residential parking stickers :(
Very nice place, good surroundings. Interior fittings a little cheap.
Bad management - kinda reminds me of a cellphone company contract.
One last thing - there are small rocks on the side of the street to prevent you from going onto their beautiful lanscaped lawns at turns. But they are so close to the street, that I hit one of them once while turning in, and my wheel wasnt even on the grass. My poor brand new car :(
