The apartments are good, but the management is really very very unprofessional and it sucks. When I completed my 1 year, my company told me to move to a different city. I told the apartment management that I need to stay for 1 month more, they put me on monthly lease and I had to pay nearly 1200/- for that last month (compared to 770/- I was paying for a year). This is how they treat you even if you have lived there for a year. Next time I am coming to Palatine, I will never stay in countryside apartments. The management sucks.

Countryside is not the only apartment complex to charge extra fees (sometimes exhorbitant) for a month-to-month lease... Since you can leave whenever you want and they cannot rent that unit to another person until you decide to move out, then their fees are somewhat justified.
