I have been a renter for over 15 years and worked in the leasing business for the last 5 years. Trust me when you're standing on the other side of the desk you see things very differently. First all if I had a dollar for everytime someone didn't read their lease only to claim later they didn't know this or that, I would even need a paycheck. Second ASK questions your leasing consultant is not a mind reader and doesn't know what's important to you. No apartment is perfect. If you're looking for perfection...build a house. Things break, buildings get old what's important is the effort involved in making it right. I chose to live at Countryside because I had worked in the area as a apartment locator and I knew that in comparision to the other apartments they were a good solid value.

Right now, I would be o.k. with just having things break and only the building is getting old---but that is not what is happening right now. These new owners are horrible and rude! All they want is people's money.
