In the two years that I have lived here, the whole place has fallen apart. The kitchen sink leaks. The toilet leaks, and backs up. The stove didn't work when I moved in. The heat went out in the dead of winter. The heater leaked carbon monoxide into the apartment, I had levels of 50 to 200 in every room. This caused head aches, nausea, vomiting, weakness. My husband and I both thought we just had the flu or a bug. When we found out and called it took several days to get them to fix it. They just told me to leave the heater off and put another blanket on. WOW, another blanket like it was nothing to go a few nights in the winter without heat in IL. The a/c has been out almost a week and it's 80 degrees in the apartment at night. Their idea of fixing it was to tell me how cool it was outside and open the sliding doors. Everyday they have told me that the issue would be fixed today every single day still I have no air. The person that lives above me takes out their cat litter and somehow spills it from their apartment all the way down the stairs and out the doors to the trash cans. Please keep in mind when walking in the halls not to step in the cat ----. Both my cars have been damaged in the parking lot, one by a child throwing rocks, the other by an ass opening their car door and hitting mine. Plus, the walls are very very thin I have herd the same people having sex for two years. The other people living beside me has children that screams, and plays, and hits the wall until one or two in the morning. I called about the noises for the people having sex and asked if they would take care of it, they never did. Just think about having parents, family, friends, church friends over and hear a couple having sex. Not only having sex but screaming it out loud. Now, after all that would you not run'

You are exactly right. The CS management will promise you or tell you anything you like with no intention of fulfilling any commitment. They have taken lying and misrepresentation to a whole new level. Amoral would be a polite term for this bunch. You have summarized it very well . . . . run fast and far away.

hi my name is mo. me and my girl friend went to see the countryside appartment at STERLING...PALATINE.....1st we were really attracted to see the out side view it was pretty clean and maintained we never got a chance to rent the apartment we were looking for a 1 bedroom apt.....we just moved from alabama to chicago.......and we both were currently unemployed and here in chicago i guess they have a rule that atleast one person should be employed and its not that we didn't have any savings we did had very good saving with an outstanding credit and rental history.....we got rejected from a lot of apartments becuz we were unemployed..but the best thing about other apartments(leasing staff)..was they told us straight up before filling out an application form that here in chicagi atleast one person should be employed or even though u have saving they wanna see income coming in our checking account...when we saw the countryside apartment we made sure.....that we were unemployed and cureently we dont have a job still the girl who was showing us the apartment(blonde girl) she said oohh if u have saving thats not at all a problem we can get u in blah blah....she made us fill out the application form which cost $50 a piece so thats $100 for me an my girlfriend.....and for a moment everything went smooth she got our credit card number and stuff and we thought wow this is awesome we will get an appartment but i think the girl who showed us the apartment didn't know what exactly she was doing .......after all the formalities she comes and she says welll u got approved in ur credit history but i cant give u this apartment unless u bring a guaranteer to sigh behalf of u or she 3 years worth of rent in our checking or saving account and that was too much for us because we had good saving but showing 3 years rent in advance was unaffordable.......and finally she charged us a 100 dollar for the application we filled for the apartment and the leasing manager who is a ------- ugly danger looking ----- she said she cant refund that money back o us because she checked our credit history n stuff checking credit histort cost $6 thats $12 for me and my girlfriend why the hell she charged us $100...? even though....we didnt get an apartment we requested her to refund our money back but that ugly old -----...said str8 up..that we can't refund that money....if we refund that......we have to pay the credit company i mean cum on its like u go to a restaurant u eat nothing and u pay the bill???? u think that was right even though we didn't got the apartment she charged us for the application fee.....she was very rude unhelpfull....and i dunno who made her the leasing manager only by looking at her ugly face u can tell her she is a -----.....i dont ever recommend any one to go..over there even after telling her everything str8 up.....that we justr moved we dont have any job she said aww its gonna b fine n all tht crap but unfortunately.....nothing went right......we lost oure $100.....i cancelled our credit card....i hate the staff they were......rude rude rude........
