We moved into a 1 bedroom aparment ago in august of 2007. while living in the apartment we had a few issues here and there....apartments have maintenance issues and what not all the time. Things were average until we had to go w/o running water for a week. Apparently there was some kind of water heater or pump issue which caused either no or very low pressure water to come out of faucets. This went on for a while so I called the leasing office- let me say the girls working there for the most part of idiotic to say the least and rude, immature, uneducated and stupid. I advised them our water wasn't working- they said someone would "check on it"---nothing changed after a day- had to call the office back---was told the were working on it....another day passes. Finally after calling back demanding to s/w a mngr i was told the building was undergoing maintenance and that's why there was issues w/ the water.... now- why wouldn't they notify the residents of such a prolonged issue ahead of time' I bitched out the mngr big time. She ended up giving me a $200 credit for my rent that month after i bitched and bitched. Anyhow that FINALLY got fixed. Now this year we decided to retn 1 more year before buying a place so we moved to a 2 bedroom. We selected a 2 bedroom unit based on a "walk by" with a leasing rep who pointed out the apartment and how we would be able to intall a satellite. Now- the day we move we go thinking we were at our new apartment that had been pointed out and low an behold they put is in an entirely different apt then they showed us. - ufortunately we were traveling out of the country 3 days after our move for a 3 week trip and we couldn't fix anything until we got back home. when we finally got back i spoke with a a mngr who stated that i should have told them it was the wrong apt when we moved. I told her I had told a leasing agent immediately) which I did. - She offered no solution to our issus becaus enow we cannot install the satellite at all. they won't allow us to put it on the roof either. worst part is that we found a place where we could put the satellite and our shrimp ass prick neightbor complained the satellite was too close to his property but the management office told us to put it there!! what the ----!>!>>! I hate the ------- in the office and their management is terrible- don't get suckered in like we did!
