Ended up not renting here but . . .

As someone looking to venture out on their own for the first time I went around looking at apartments so I could weigh the benefits of renting vs. buying. I ultimatly decided to buy however I figured I'd help these guys out with a good review of that I did see . . .

First of all the staff was very friendly and helpful right off the bat. Some of the other apartment complexes have been much much less helpful in explaining everything to me.

The area was very quiet with the exception of some of the younger generation with older souped up Civics, Acuras, and BMWs speeding out of the parking lot (Something I've been noticing at this complex for years)

The clubhouse was brand new and beautiful.

I looked at a one bedroom unit and the model they showed me (Yeah yeah not an apartment that you actually would rent but it gave a good idea) looked spacious and well layed out. This would appear to be a safe/quiet place to rent (even if I never see the gates of this gated community in a down position) The only weird thing with the apartments (at least nowadays I'd consider it weird) was the A/C unit permanently affixed to the wall. Most apartments I've looked at have central air conditioning. That wouldn't make or break the place by any means.

The appliances were also newer (Mid-90s) and I was told they were going to be going through and replacing the cabinets in each unit this year.

If I was to rent however I wouldn't rent here. Other apartment complexes offer washer/dryer in unit for not much more. When it came down to it I'd rather spend a bit more per month to get that.

Aside from that however this was a very well maintained and quiet complex for a decent price. Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in this area.
