Village Park of Palatine

Good living environment. It became "home" to us.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
My family lived at Village Green for three years and found the staff, though it changed frequently, to remain vigilant in addressing our concerns. During our time there we lived in both one bedroom and two bedroom apartments and found both adequate accommodations for the rental fees.
The grounds were well-kept year round (worth the noise of the maintenance crews, I suppose) and parking nearly always available near the apartment.
The clubhouse is spacious and immaculate, and the exercise equipment appeared to be a little outdated but certainly not antiquated.
Though we never feared for our safety, we expressed concern that the gate system did not work upon our arrival in 2003. When we moved out in 2006 it was still inoperable, though there were several attempts to repair it. There are not locks on the doors to individual buildings either. I would advise caution to anyone who lives alone and must frequently return home alone at night.
Otherwise we were quite pleased with the apartment complex.
