Wyndham Court/Club is atrocious at best. I cannot even begin to describe the hell we endured when we lived there. First of all, Mid-America Management is the absolute worst. I haven't dealt with a more obnoxious bunch of people in my life. We had concert tickets overnighted to our address and management gave us the notification six weeks after the concert when another package for us came in. The outdoor pool was absolutely filthy, caked with slime and algae all summer long. Also, some lovely neighborhood "kids" liked to throw everything from shopping carts to road cones over the fence and into the pool. The indoor pool was even worse. It looked clean, but it smelled like a septic tank. And you couldn't sit in the hot tub because they poured so much bleach in there to clean it that your eyes would burn after about 30 seconds. Then there is the crime situation. Personal items would mysteriously vanish from the interior halls, and this is in a so-called secured entrance building. Neighbors have had scooters, bicycles and stereo equipment disappear without a sign of forced entry. The sign to the San Tropei condos behind Wyndham had been vandalized so many times by the drug dealers who hung out behind it that they finally took it down. The neighborhood is an absolute slum. There's a car wash on the corner and when spring rolls around, the line to get into it extends down the street and you can't get in or out of the complex. Cars constantly flood the street to turn around to gain entrance to the car wash. Management is constantly saying how "modern" these units are. Ask any one of them how old the buildings are and they won't tell you. That's because they were built in the early 80s. They are selling these units as condos for about $150,000 a piece and they are 20 years old. Our old neighbors were so loud with their music and screaming it was like living above a fraternity. When we learned this place was converting to condos we took the opportunity to move ASAP and haven't looked back. And if you have kids, forget it. It's totally unsafe and there is nowhere for them to play. You can't even walk to a playground. The ads for this place in apartment books is laughable. "Nestled in tranquil park like settings'" Please. This place is surrounded by strip malls and gas stations. Also, you will freeze to death in the winter with the drafty windows, and the hot water lasts about one shower before you're freezing. Save your money and your sanity and live somewhere else.
