this complex looks lived in the model unit is beautiful and they will make your apartment look beautiful when you move in give you a welcome package that includes cleaning materials like bleach & dish liquid and a coffe cake like the one you get at a gas station. But 1 day after moving in you find out it is horrible. Mold under paint & carpet, broken washers & dryers that catch on fire, garbage everywhere all the time, management who sit in the office with doors locked and wont answer phone due to previous death threats, maintenence who use keys to enter your apartment while at work and rumble thru your underwear eat your food and watch your tv. my apt was broken into twice before I moved in and twice since being here one time by the maintenence guy. they have section 8 & peoria housing tenants so this is the ultimate ghetto. Working people dont last a year, they never shovel so you gotta worry about falling on the thick ice in winter, they dont start to cut the grass until late April or early May and please dont even open your water bill. We took a survey of tenants if you are peoria housing your water bill will be about $15-$20 a month, if you are section 8 water is $20-30 a month people who work pay the difference water bills for people who work have ranged from $30 - 90 per month depending on how many working adults are in your apartment. needless to say the management gets one large bill from the water company for the whole complex and then charges each tenant what they feel they should be able to pay.....I have me and 1 kid in 2bdrm all my neighbors have 3 kids and three bedrooms they get the low bills due to their income I work and get very very high bills. Oh and lets not forget the crack house in building 3 and the prostitutes uh just pick a building they are all over the complex, drug dealers walking the premises after hours and teen agers having sex on the playground and sex in the mailroom. Oh yeah the mailroom is the clubhouse because the management keeps the pool & clubhouse locked up.
