Their attitude is they are doing you a favor by letting you pay rent to stay there. What a bunch of jerks (from the dragonlady manager to the maintenance guy and his dad). Lousy, obtrusive maintenance. When my lease was up they didn't include the interest due on the deposit (they lied and said I left the apt. in bad shape when in reality I left it in better shape than when I moved in). It took some effort on my part and I finally got my interest payment.
