I never have a parking space when I get home from work. The lot is overfull at night.
There are gaps around the windowframes and doorframes to see directly outside.
Leaks from A/C unit & toilet.
Neighbors blast loud gang music.
Gang-types running around the lot at night.
Hallways smell like pot.
electrical closet has washer & dryer. washer leaks water onto floor to run to drain in the electrical closet...
Have to call maintenance people more than once to get them to fix anything. Sometimes they still don't fix it.
People replaced windows a year or two ago in my apartment. They stole food and drinks from my fridge.
Got harassed by a maintenance guy. more than once.
Also told by them "how I need to live my life" None of their business. I have a good job and do nothing wrong. They don't need to tell me they think my life should be.
Maintenance people have no professionalism.
Was threatened with fake bills for damage and eviction when I complained about maintenance people.
Doesn't plow snow in winter often/very well. When complaining about it, was told I don't have any business being outside in bad weather, as a way for them to cop out of not plowing snow. They have no business telling me what I can and can't do, when I HAVE to go somewhere, regardless of snow on ground.
Complex is down a hill. Can't get out of complex in wintertime due to Ice on hill from drainage across road.
Trash is always in complex, all over... Especially cans and bottles placed right behind car tires.
Lots of trash ends up on ground due to people going through the trash that does make it into the dumpster (do you really think people need to be looking through your trash with your personal info on some of it' (This includes maintenance people going through it.))
Outdoor light on building actually goes OUT with outside movement, not on.
Stairs are EXTREMELY uneven, old, creaky, and not sturdy.
Lots of damage not fixed from previous owner. had to get maintenance to fix or fix myself.
Had Furnace unit go out 3 times. twice in one year. Filters don't ever get changed.
The only reason I stayed here so long is because I haven't found any better place that's closer to work, or worth the trouble/cost of moving, and haven't found a good house to move into yet, though I'm hoping to move out of this place soon.
