I lived at this apartment twice. I loved it. I moved in the first time and had no problems at all. I only moved out due to a friend's need for a roomate. The maintenance staff is great and always ontop of any problems I ever had (which weren't many at all) and were friendly when doing so. After I moved out I missed how nice the apartments were and was fortunate enough to be able to move back once the other situation was resolved. I had great neighbors who I NEVER heard and always had a place to park. I am not sure how other people had problems but overall the apartment complex was great. The office staff is wonderful and committed to making it feel like a home. I would suggest it to anyone who is in need of an apartment and does not want to deal with any unecessary inconveniences. I am only moving out now because I bought a house.
I never encountered the problems I read in another person's blog. And I lived in this apartment for quite some time. If there was a peice of garbage outside that I noticed, I picked it up. But rarely did I ever see one because maintenance was on top of any and all inconveniences before anyone had to deal with them. I took pride in living in these apartments as you should do with your home regardless of where it is, an apartment, house, or etc... If there would have been a problem I would have addressed it but there never was. I also would have never come back if there were any problems I felt were not properly addressed.
It suprised me to see how fast the snow plow came out after each time it snowed. There is a hill to get in and out but I never got stuck even with the worst snow. And maintenance was out with shovels before I even woke up clearing the sidewalks of snow.
Also living next door to an elementary school was so nice. My kids loved going over to the playground on the weekends or to the onsite pool. I looked at other apartments and found none in the peoria area I would rather rent from. Again I strongly suggest these apartments. I loved them!
