I'm happy

I believe you get what you pay for here. If you go on the reviews to many other more expensive apartments, they are unhappy about something as well. I did not talk to one person that did not have a snow removal problem that weekend. The wal-mart roof caved in for pete's sake... the storm was obviously unexpected and nobody, including the city of peoria, was ready for it. even if you got out you would be welcomed by unplowed and dangerous streets. The apartments are good sized, the staff is friendly, and my side (candlelight ct.) is very quiet. Parking has never been a problem either. My neighbors are nice and I feel extremely safe. Sure, some things (like maintenance) are a bit lacking, but what do you expect for the price' My advice to you is ask to see the actual unit you are considering instead of a model, and talk to some of the neighbors. The other side of the complex feels like another world, but I love my side.
